Allison is a horticulturalist with over two decades of experience spanning both the private and public sectors. Most recently, as principal instructor of the Horticulture Training Program at UBC Botanical Garden, she designed curriculum and mentored the next generation of landscape professionals.

Her passion for blending plant science with storytelling has reached hundreds of learners through workshops, webinars, and tree tours offered in the community, at VanDusen Botanical Garden, UBC Botanical Garden, and with garden clubs across British Columbia. She has also collaborated with non-profits throughout the Lower Mainland and currently serves as a director on the Riverview Horticultural Center Society board.

Her certifications reflect training and commitment to the highest standards of professionalism, plant care, and sustainable landscape management.

  • Red Seal Landscape Horticulturalist

  • ISA Certified Arborist

  • Master’s candidate in Urban Forestry Leadership, University of British Columbia
